How does the construction process work?

First, our staff will work with you to finalize the design, add-on options, decking and other such details. Once all the details are finalized, we will begin by grading the site and forming it into the necessary shape. We'll then proceed with pre-plumbing and electrical, wall construction, decking, landscaping, and accessories. Although the construction process may be unsightly, the final process will be the envy of your neighborhood.

How do I select the right pool builder?

Interview the prospective builder cautiously. Carefully consider the following:

  • That is the builder's reputation?

  • Do they have any referrals from a friend or neighbor? Check referrals

  • What is the builder's standing with the Better Business Bureau?

  • Are you confident that your property will be treated with dignity and respect?

Can you help me design the best pool for my backyard?

Certainly!  Our staff will help you select the right size, shape and overall layout of the best pool for the area you have to work with.  We understand that each home is different and each homeowner's tastes and styles are different.  We will help you with all of the details, including any add-on options, such as waterfalls, landscaping, etc. that you want to include.

What options are available to add to my pool?

Many options are available for making your pool safe, economical, unique and enjoyable!  Technology offers a wide range of upgrades.  A few options include, automatic cover systems, automatic controllers, automatic cleaning systems, fiber-optic lighting, diving boards, innovative water features and heat pumps.

How much work is involved in owning and maintaining my pool?

With today's technology owning a pool is much easier than in the past.  A properly designed pool system can make caring for your pool easy.  Automatic sanitizers, pool cleaners, covers, controls, chlorinators and chlorine generators greatly reduce the amount of time spent to just minutes per week.

How much will my utility bill increase if I get a pool?

Depending your utility provider is and where you live will vary.  Also your desired pool temperature will influence your cost.  On an average estimates show utility bills range between $30.00-$100.00 per month.

What other factors affect the cost of my swimming pool?

The size and design of your pool will affect the construction costs.  Prices can also be affected by ease of access on the property and demolition requirements prior to construction.  As the customer, you have the greatest influence on your budget as you control the design of your pool.

Can you help me with financing my pool?

Yes.  We work with local lenders that would love to help you with your financing needs.  In essence, you can qualify for a specified amount of money to be used specifically for the construction of your new pool, spa and accessories.  The application process is extremely simple and they will help walk you through all of the details.

Will you support and help maintain my pool after is completed?

We build relationships.  Just because we've completed your pool does not mean that our relationship ends.  We will be with you to help service and maintain your pool long after it's finished.  The level, and amount of involvement we have in maintaining your pool is up to you.

What is a pool cover made of?

Safety pool cover is made of heavy gauge, vinyl, reinforced with high strength Dacron mesh.

Will the automatic pool cover help to heat the pool?

The pool cover turns your pool into a large passive solar collector that will raise the water temperature 6 to 10 degrees on an average.

Yes, by holding the heat in the pool at night and capturing the sun's rays during the day, your swimming season will be extended.

Yes, the primary function of automatic pool cover systems is your family's safety, but check manual on other safety concerns.

Do I still add chemicals the same way?

Chemical additions will be reduced, cover should remain open up to several hours depending on chemical.

Yes, large accumulations of snow should carefully be removed.

Yes, you can save 30% to 60% on your electric costs in operating the pool.

Can I prevent the cover from being operated when I'm not around?

Yes, an automatic cover is controlled with a key operated on/off switch. Just remove the key to secure the cover in a closed position.

Will the safety cover support the weight of a person?

Yes, but it is strongly advised to keep people and pets off the cover.

Do the anchors require any special care?

After removing or prior to installing the cover, clean out all the anchor with air or water.  This biannual cleaning will assure proper anchor function.
